More Info.Sambodhi Home was established in July 1964. At that time the Sambodhi Home was controlled by the Galle Welfare Society and later it was controlled and managed by the Sambodhi Welfare Society. At that time, there were about 20 other institutions affiliated to the Sambodhi Institute and the welfare of more than 1000 disabled Sri Lankan citizens was done by the Sambodhi Home and its affiliates.
Sambodhi Home is an institute which was located in an area of about an acre land in Magalle,Galle, Sri Lanka. Sambodhi Home treated for the disabled people. This place is also a home for them. Most of the disabled people who reside here in Sambodhi Home are homeless or refused from their relatives. Presently we continue this service basically on donations.
At Sambodhi Home, residents receive not only shelter but also emotional support, medical care, and opportunities for their abilities, helping them lead dignified lives. The foundation serves as a beacon of hope to the disabled and disordered.

Sambodhi Special School is an institution that was started in the year 1964. At present, about 50 children are studying. 9 teachers are working.
